Today I've chosen the new cover for the fourth book in the Eragon series. I've loved all the covers:
They are simple and have everything to do with the story. They aren't just some illustration slapped up there to make the book look cool. The first book has a picture of Saphira and the entire book is about her and Eragon meeting. The next is a picture of Eragon's brother's dragon. Scary, moving on...And the last is of the noble dragon who taught Saphira much. The last? I have no idea. I'm going to have to go through them all again and see if I can find any clues on the next story...I can't wait! Plus the colors reflect the theme of each book. Blue is pure and mysterious, just like the beginning of the series, red is for the evil that presents it self in the second and gold for the hope that remains. At least that's how I see it in my mind :]
Green...not sure. But I will find out!
